The image shows a map that resembles “Rebirth Island,” but has been reworked for Warzone 2.0’s new battle royale system. To give you a little background, after the initial release of Warzone, Rebirth Island quickly became a fan favorite due to its small size, which facilitated more direct combat and a faster speed of play. Rebirth Island appears to have been scaled down and redesigned into the new Warzone 2 Resurgence map. From above, we can see a shipwreck, port, industrial ruins, beach club, town square, power plant, homes, water treatment facilities, apartments, and greenhouses. At the very heart of this map is a castle. The image of the map also shows various game modes that can be played in Warzone 2. These include 1x Ground War Area (24v24), the recently added DMZ extraction shooter mode, and the standard game mode (50 players). There is no other view of the leaked map right now, but there is a lot of talk that it could come out sometime next year. Despite the lack of concrete evidence or official confirmation from Activision, some sources claim to have received DMCA notices, which questions the credibility of the image. This also draws some attention to the idea that something is strange, but you should, like others, not take this too seriously and wait for the official announcement before jumping into any conclusions. We will keep you informed as new information becomes available.
