Microsoft is constantly working to bring new capabilities to Windows 10 Your Phone App to make it a bit more feature complete. Now it seems like the company is planning to bring the ability to share files right from your desktop. In the latest build, some insiders spotted a new folder named “ContentTransfer” that is meant to introduce the functionality within Your Phone app. Once enabled, it would probably allow you to send and receive files to/from your contacts. https://twitter.com/ALumia_Italia/status/1217358007027355649

However, you need to connect both devices to the internet and a Bluetooth connection should be established in order to pair your phone to Windows 10 PC. Notably, the feature is currently going through an internal testing phase. Thus, we can’t see an option within the app on our end. As a quick reminder, Your Phone app now allows you to sync the wallpaper of your phone. A corresponding option to turn on the feature is already available for some insiders. The app is available for all Android and iOS devices but the iPhone version supports limited functionality as compared to Android handsets. It is recommended that you should keep an eye on the upcoming insider builds to see if the file sharing feature is available on your PC. If you haven’t downloaded the app yet, you should head over to the Microsoft Store now. Search for Your Phone app and download it on your Windows 10 PC.
