Avatar Frontiers of Pandora Delayed to 2023-2024

According to the information provided by Ubisoft, the game will be delayed to 2023-24. The news comes as a shock to many who had been patiently waiting for the Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. The game is reported to be made in the company’s renowned engine, Snowdrop.  It was all laid out in the 2022-23 sales report that shed light on a bunch of recent projects as well. For starters, Assassin’s Creed and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege have managed to perform better than the expected Q1 performance.  On that note, Ubisoft will be revealing the future of Assassin’s Creed in September. For this quarter, the company has been very active on free-to-play initiatives where different testing phases for the Division Heartland, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Mobile, and XDefinat happened around the world.  Player feedback remained pivotal during these tests that’ll be carried on in the coming months as well.  As for the Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, it may be getting delayed, but that doesn’t mean the company’s taking their eye off it. Ubisoft is still wholly focused on delivering the awaiting fans a cutting-edge immersive, one-of-a-kind experience making full use of their next-gen technology. On that note, the company will also be releasing a minor unannounced premium game in 2023-24 – one that was initially set for release in 2022-23.  With all this going on, it’s kind of chaos at Ubisoft Forward which is why it kind of makes sense why they had to delay the game. The company will be back with more updates on September 10, and until we’ll be waiting.  The additional development time clearly reflects the current ongoing constraints on production across the gaming industry. The company is hard at work on the project despite Avatar Frontiers of Pandora being delayed. While we don’t have a solid release date for the game, we can only hope for one around September 10 at the Ubisoft Forward keynote.
